It prints in layers, which eventually hardens to become human tissue. The cells are taken from the patient to avoid any nasty rejection mess.<br />
Human testing should begin in about a year. This could be great for transplant patients, and would side-step all of the stem-cell research stigma that we have here in the US.</p>
